View All Sports

Acadiana is home to a number of high-quality public and private golf courses for players of all skill levels. The scenic courses offer Lafayette area residents a variety of options to shoot nine, 18 or even 27 holes.

Five public courses are available in metro Lafayette:

  • Farm d’Allie
  • Jay and Lionel Hebert Municipal Golf Course
  • Le Triomphe
  • Les Vieux Chenes
  • The Wetlands

Each course has its own characteristic scenery and challenges, from wide-open fairways and rolling hills to tricky sand traps and unique water layouts. All of the courses feature Pro Shops, restaurants or snack bars, practice facilities and multiple tournaments throughout the year. Instructional lessons for both adult and junior players are available at The Wetlands.

Other public, private and semi-private courses are scattered across Acadiana within an hour’s drive or less from Lafayette. Farm d’ Allie Golf Club in Carencro provides players with a championship-quality, 18-hole course. Le Triomphe Golf Course and Country Club in Broussard features a full country club with swimming, fitness and tennis facilities. Oak Bourne in Lafayette, another championship course, is an 18-hole facility currently rated fourth-best in the state by Golf Digest magazine.
