View All Arts & Music

The Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum, located on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, features a diverse collection of art from a variety of categories and time periods. The museum opened its doors to the public in 2004 after a generous donation from Lafayette residents, Paul and Lulu Hilliard. The diverse collection of art and design—housed in 11,000 square feet of gallery space—spans the course of history, from 18th century Europe, Asia and the Americas to modern and contemporary art. The exhibitions provide visitors a glimpse into the history of the artistic world.

In addition to the wide variety of artwork on display, the museum provides educational programs for visitors of all ages. Through educational programming and a diverse selection of exhibitions, the Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum aims to build understanding and awareness of the arts in the Acadiana region.
